About Us

Logipix Technical Development Ltd. is a privately held company established in 1996 in Budapest, Hungary.

The company was founded by two development engineers. Initially the primary profile of the company was to develop and produce access control systems. Later, thanks to our immense experience, we have created complex security surveillance solutions.

Over the years, Logipix grew into the international company that it is today – one of the most innovative, end-to-end security solution developers and manufacturers in the world. Now the main profile of the company is to provide IP-based, high-end video security surveillance solutions. Our systems are able to handle large projects and adapt to customer needs while keeping costs at bay.

In 2016, Logipix proudly announced its newest Network Video Recorder, the Logipix NVR Outdoor, that has been specially developed for on-site recording tasks. With its IP68 rating outdoor enclosure it resists even to the most extreme weather conditions.

In 2016, Logipix announced the exclusive flagship camera of the product line, Logipix ONE 200 MP Panorama camera with 20 FPS recording speed. Just like the 140 MP Panorama model, this device can also be completed with an optional automatic self-cleaning system. The thermal control of its electronic components is performed by an integrated heat pipe cooling system.

In 2016 The Logipix ONE camera family was extended with a 20 MP model, with 20 FPS recording speed and wide dynamic range for challenging surveillance scenarios.

In 2015 we introduced the Logipix ONE Panorama camera. This high-end security camera produces a video stream with 140 MP resolution images at 20 FPS recording speed. The thermal control of the electronic components is performed by an integrated heat pipe cooling system. The camera is optionally completed with an automatic self-cleaning system.

LOGIPIX started the year 2015 with a brand new camera release, the Logipix ONE 14 MP. We developed a camera that contains a ground-breaking 1ʺ sensor with 14 MP resolution. Thanks to the larger sensor size, the camera produces more detailed images with sharper edges and has an improved low-light performance. All these with an 20 FPS recording speed at full resolution. The camera also contains a triple optical filter.

In 2014 we developed our brand new mobile video recorder, the Walk-DVR 4th generation. It has a special hybrid recording system which contains two notebook HDDs and an SSD. In the same year we started developing Logipix applications based on Video Content Analysis, which can help to register offenders in certain traffic situations.

In 2013 we introduced the Logipix Stadium Surveillance system. The system is based on the images of the Logipix 2 MP PTZ cameras installed in optional arrangement. He camera was also a development of year 2013. The images of the cameras can be stitched together as panoramic images. Thanks to a self-developed application the camera can be controlled on the panoramic images by selecting an area using the mouse or the touchscreen. 

In 2012, we developed the 100 and 150 megapixel Panorama cameras.

In 2011, we introduced our 15 MP camera. This Logipix device has a unique feature, the Auto Back Focus module which ensures easy installation.

In 2010, we developed the Logipix SATA. Logipix SATA is a high resolution security camera, that can record the images locally on a SATA hard drive. Therefore even a small bandwidth network can be used for remote monitoring.

In 2009, we developed the LNVR-Hibrid interface designed for the purpose of extending the IP-based Logipix VideoSurveillance systems analog cameras. Depending on the configuration, 8 or 16 analog cameras can be connected to it. The device can be box- or rack-type. The task of storage device management is carried out by the Logipix NVR, which may contain 4, 8 or 20 HDDs.

In 2009, we developed the Logipix 9.1 Day/Nigh security camera as well.

In 2008, we started to develop Network Video Recorder, specially designed for Logipix cameras.

In 2007,we started developing security cameras. Our main goal was to produce a 9.1 megapixel security camera at the price of analog cameras. The key element of the Logipix is the MPX9 digital signal processor. The MPX9 can compress 5 FPS at a 3480 x 2600 resolution. Because of the MPX9’s multi resolution compression engine, the camera can send full-resolution streams to the recorder and low-resolution streams to the monitoring computers at the same time.

In 2005, we started maufacturing the Walk-DVR-CF, a video recorder specially designed for mobile applications. Its innovative Hybrid Video Storage System combines the advantages of large capacity HDDs and the environment resistant Flash-cards.

In 2004, we released the Walk-DVR, a small and powerful digital video recorder.

In 2003, we started developing Control Center, an integrated surveillance software. Control Center significantly simplifies the supervisory work.

In 2002, based on our successful access control system, we developed the SComplex. This equipment integrated our video recorder, the access control and the intruder alarm function into a single device. The three systems could be monitored on a single software.

In 2000, we started developing our new access controller with the following technical characteristics: 32bit/100MHz ARM CPU, 32Mbyte RAM, 10Mbit Ethernet, Linux-like real-time operating system.

In 1998, we released a Time & Attendace software, which was necessary in almost every company.

From 1996, our company developed and manufactured the software and hardware elements of the STP access control system. This system was able to operate in remote buildings with even thousands of access points.
