The new features of the Control Center are special visualization methods, which can significantly increase the clarity of the “super-wide” angle image. Currently four different display types can be chosen to show the pictures. The fish-eye images can be displayed without any distortion transformation, which view can cover even the entire observed room. On the other hand this display mode may cause difficulties in picture reading in several cases, therefore Control Center provides to transform fish-eye images into a more readable format. One algorithm stretches the sphere surface of the fish-eye image which results a 360° panoramic view. The other divides the fish-eye image into two sides and visualizes two stretched 180° panorama pictures. The third displaying mode delivers the so called quad view (4x90). In that case the fish-eye image can be seen as pictures of four individual cameras which are pointing into four different directions.
