LOGIPIX Access Control

Logipix Access Control System

We developed the components of our first generation access control system in 1996. Ever since we have extended the Logipix Access Control and Attendance Register System with new hardware components and new services.

Our product range is built from matching Logipix standard hardware components. Thanks to this essential feature, system expansion and function upgrade is easier and more cost-effective.

In our system users are identified by their proximity cards.

We have specially developed card readers for different card systems. Our devices can use third-party card readers or biometric identification terminals with standard Wiegand or Clock-Data output.

The hardware components of the system can installed with the Configuration Client software. Some of the features are performed by client software for instance the issuance of substitute cards by the Reception Terminal client software. Other features are performed by the hardware such as access, anti-passback, and displaying attendance register balance. Each of the controllers have their own IP address which allows them to connect directly to LAN. Different types of controllers can be used in the same system according to the system's tasks.

Our hardware and software components are able to build small, medium sized and large systems. Upgrading an existing system is easy, as the installation of new hardware components does not require new software components. Only new features require new types of client software.

The illustration below shows a middle-sized, integrated access control, attendance register, digital video recorder and burglar alarm system. The system Contains IP controllers, SK03-08 Controllers and SComplex devices. SComplex is a special hardware with integrated access control, video surveillance and alarm system.

These systems can be established at a single site. Communication with the server can happen over LAN or, in the case of multiple sites, over the internet.
