Logipix NVR 3rd generation

Logipix NVR 3rd generation

The 3rd generation of Logipix Network Video Recorders are specially designed to record the image streams of Logipix ONE cameras. Different versions of 3rd generation NVRs are available, and are designed to serve different camera components and solutions.

LNVR2-10-16; LNVR2-10-16/2

Logipix engineers developed two types of NVRs that serve both the Logipix Panorama and Logipix ONE cameras. They can receive the images of ten individual 20 MP cameras without limiting their maximum resolution and FPS. The devices are also ideal for recording and storing high-resolution panoramic images, since they have a 7 Gbit/sec recording speed and a standard storage capacity of 160 TB. The LNVR2-10-16/2 can be further expanded with up to two external storages, reaching a total capacity of 480 TB. The devices use the JPEG2000 compression standard, which allows intelligent image transmission toward the monitoring center.

LNVR2-SE-16

Logipix designed the LNVR2-SE-16, a rack-mount storage expansion device that contains 16 HDDs. Since two of these devices can be connected to the LNVR2-10-16/2 Network Video Recorder, they can expand its storage capacity up to 480 TB. The LNVR2-SE-16 uses SAS serial communication protocol, which allows for high-speed data transfer. This allows the recorder to handle the high-resolution, 20 FPS video streams of Logipix ONE cameras.

In addition to the Outdoor NVRs, the Logipix team created 3rd generation rack-mount NVRs for traffic violation management. The main feature of these NVRs is the embedded Video Content Analysis. They can be efficiently used in Logipix systems where there is a need for central recording. The LNVRs receive the video streams of up to eight individual Logipix ONE cameras and perform VCA on them. The devices have a 7 Gbit/sec recording speed and they store the images on up to sixteen HDDs. They use the scalability of JPEG2000 image compression standard to effectively utilize the available bandwidth.
